DECORATING
101 SYNOPSIS
Eugene Walters is a manager at
Burger King. Not
exactly every woman’s dream; and in this modern era that’s
pretty much enough said.
The women agree to go out with him but as soon as they
find out what he does, it’s game over.
What does Eugene do in an attempt
to turn the tide? He
agrees to do something he had previously never done before: DECORATE.
We’re not talking about decorating a room in a house
or an apartment; we’re talking about decorating every aspect
of your existence. In
other words, leaving your old life behind in favour of the one
best suited to combat the superficiality of the world we live
in. Therefore a
manager all of a sudden becomes a supervisor in training, an
administrative assistant becomes an executive assistant.
However, it is important to note that when one decorates
you never really lying, instead you just presenting your
reality in a more favourable light.
We all do it; albeit in our own way and perhaps without
even realising, but we do.
Some of us are apt; some of us aren’t, and then you
have the others who simply don’t have a clue.
Eugene falls into the latter, so in order to overcome
his futility on the subject he solicits the aid of his
childhood friend Miles Justice and his entourage, Lamar
Anderson, Dexter Klyne and Francesco Calabrini; the only ones
vying for this coveted mentorship.
The mission: turning the previously unheralded Eugene
Walters into GP, a smooth operator with all the right
moves….or are they?
Decorating 101 is a fresh innovative & urban
comedy that deals with the age-old question:
“What does a woman truly look for in a man & vice
versa?” “ How far down the list is love?” Why don’t we decorate and find out?
