SYNOPSIS

STORY
There
comes a time when every woman wants to get married.
Regardless of race ,creed, religious background,
ethnicity or money. We
are all in search of money; whether we choose to admit it or
not. But the
almighty dollar can cause men and women to do outrageous
things. It can
drive a wedge into any relationship, from the most casual of
friendships, to family; and even marriage.
MOSES KENDRICK and LINDA HARPER, like many other
couples in America, face the daunting task of living through
the stress and strain put on a relationship by financial
limitations. These
limitations are often magnified when the two parties do not
share the same philosophy of life.
Linda,
a cashier at a grocery store, wants to get married with
Beverly Hills dreams and Compton money.
Moses, a security guard for an armored car company in
desperate need of a promotion, is all too aware of his
financial misgivings and lives with the frustration everyday.
They come to an understanding, regarding their
finances, that Linda periodically ignores; thus sending poor
Moses into a frenzy on a weekly basis.
AND
THE STORY BEGINS...
The
constant pressure exerted by Linda about the wedding and the
promotion that’s never coming, compounded by the realization
that hard work doesn’t necessarily equate to success, push
Moses the brink. He
plans a heist on his own truck for 12 million dollars, but to
accomplish his mission he needs help.
He solicits the aid of a former acquaintance, whom he
believes to be a small time thief; TONY GAZZOLA.
Tony arranges a meeting with a crooked cop; JUDAS
MARTIN. They
strike a deal, inked in blood, for 4 million each with one
clause; if anything goes wrong the middleman must die.
The
heist goes down the way it’s supposed to with the exception
of one minor hitch; Moses disposes of Tony.
But the minor hitch is really a major problem for Moses
because Tony was a made guy.
That sets the wheel in motion.
The
Gazzola family, in an effort to retrieve Tony’s share, make
him an offer that he cannot refuse.
They give Moses 6 hours to return the money, and if he
does, they would let bygones be bygones. But Moses knows
better, he knows he will die if he shows up; he prefers to
run. So the
Gazzola’s hand pick someone that no one in the world can run
from....
